Make a healthy snack right at home with ease!
These days, many store-bought snacks are loaded with excessive sugar, salt, and artificial additives, which can be harmful to your health. This homemade tortilla chip recipe uses organic palm coconut sugar instead of regular sugar to keep your blood sugar in check, while dried fruits add natural sweetness and a boost of nutrients. Nutty flavors from wholesome nuts bring healthy fats and protein to the mix.
Plus, this recipe skips frying and opts for baking, making it lighter and guilt-free. With no preservatives, it’s the perfect snack for kids, those on a diet, or anyone looking for a healthier alternative.
Try making these at home and enjoy a snack that’s both tasty and good for you!

Instructions
1. Prepare 3 pcs, 8 inch tortillas.
2. Melt 30g of butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Let it cool slightly so it’s not too hot.
3. Mix the melted butter with 1/2 Tbsp of minced garlic and 2 Tbsp of honey until well combined.
4. Prepare sliced almonds, or any nuts, dried fruits, or toppings of your choice.
5. Use a brush to evenly spread a thin layer of the butter mixture over the tortillas.
6. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
7. Add a light dusting of cinnamon powder.
8. Sprinkle a little sugar over the top. For a healthier option, I recommend using organic palm coconut sugar.
9. Cut the tortillas into bite-sized pieces.
10. Arrange the pieces on an oven tray.
11. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 5–7 minutes. **AIR FRYER 180 C (355 F) / 4-6 minutes
**Tips for Variations:**
- Add your favorite nuts, dried fruits, or cheese for a new twist on this homemade tortilla snack.
- If you’re adding mozzarella cheese, leave a 1–2 cm (about 1 inch) border around the edges of the tortilla since the cheese will spread as it melts.
- For cheesy tortilla chips, cut them into pieces after baking while they’re still warm but not completely cooled.
